Many know the health benefits of coffee and tea, and have been reaping the benefits for years now. High quality tea leaves and supreme coffee beans are in high demand. Wide spread use was made even more common with the invention of the k-cup; individual serving packs of quality teas and coffee. Coffee and tea are both hot beverages that date back as far as humans have been in existence. The ancient people of the central and South American lands took to the high mountains harvesting coffee beans for all kinds of uses, not just to drink. Coffee beans can be ground and used as anti inflammatory aid to wounded soldiers. Tea leaves have been harvested for thousands of years in eastern Asia for medicinal purposes, as well. Coffee and tea are staples in just about every home across the country, if not the world. What would the English be without their tea time? Coffee and tea both are high in anti oxidants and coffee beans especially pack high amounts of antioxidants that fight free radicals in the body. The western world has diluted it with all the milk and sugar we add. The invention of the k-cup was something westerners can get credit duly deserved, though. K-cups are essentially single to double sized serving of coffee and or tea in a k-cup. You just brew as much as you need or want, and voila! You have great coffee and tea, but without the hassle of leaves or coffee beans!
